Fueled by endless passion for language and the mind
I am interested in the interaction between speech prediction and speech feature divergences. I specialize in using Electroencephalogram (EEG) to investigate natural variations in speech, with a current focus on speech accents and disfluencies.
I am also a dedicated English and Mandarin instructor, providing student-centered teaching grounded in strong Second Language Acquisition (SLA) and psycholinguistic theories. My teaching experiences have also inspired me to explore language acquisition in non-native English speakers, particularly in improving speaking fluency in naturalistic speaking tasks.
